Many consumers look for sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners in order to avoid a reaction to the harsh cleansing agents. Plaintiff Molly Crane filed her class action in February 2017, alleging that Sexy Hair took advantage of this tendency by representing some of their products as being sulfate-free despite containing sulfates.

Class Members include consumers who purchased Sexy Hair Concepts products including Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Shampoo and Curly Sexy Hair Curl Defining Shampoo, since Nov. 19, 2012.

Without proof of purchase you can get $6 per product. Without proof of purchase, consumers can file a claim for two products. Those who can provide a receipt along with their Claim Form may receive $6 per item for all Class products they bought.
