Shoppers who bought beef between August 1, 2014, and December 31, 2019, could be in line for cash payments from settlements stemming from allegations that major beef processors conspired to restrict supply and drive up prices. The payouts are available to people who purchased qualifying fresh or frozen beef products to feed themselves, family, or friends, and no proof of purchase is required to submit a claim.
Where Your Purchases Must Have Been Made
This settlement covers purchases made in the following states and jurisdictions, identified in the case as Repealer Jurisdictions: Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Who Is Eligible
Anyone who purchased beef products between 8/1/2014 and 12/31/2019 to feed themselves, family, or friends may be eligible to file a claim.
What the Case Alleges
This antitrust class action lawsuit claims that several beef processors, including JBS, Cargill, National Beef, and Tyson Foods, conspired to limit the supply of beef and increase prices in the market.

If you are included in the Settlement Class, you can file a claim to receive a pro-rata (equal share) cash payment. Your payment will be proportional to the amount of included beef you purchased during the class period.
